Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where can I find a pledge form?
A. go to the Forms Tab and you will be able to print a form for the Crop. You can submit this the day of the event.
Q. I have a person who wants to give a donation using their Credit Card, can they do this?
A. Yes, they most certainly can this year. Go to the Forms tab and there will be a form at the bottom (if it is not there, it will be coming soon). Please let them know that there may be a delay depending on how quickly inputting happens.
Q. I have submitted my registration form, how will I know my spot is secured?
A. When we have received your registration form your name will appear on the Particpants tab.
Q. I have indicated who I would like to sit with/near, is this guaranteed?
A. We will do our ultimate best to make sure all your needs are met and that you are seated with your requested table mate and will be near your group. If there is a large group of you when you arrive, please feel free to push your tables together as well, we just like to give you the ultimate space alotment you can have.
Q. What happens if all the spaces are filled up?
A. Early Bird registrations have been incredible in the past. We hope we will be at our maximum this year, however this will mean that some people will not be able to come. I will start a waiting list, and if there are cancellations the spots will be on a first come first served basis.
Q. I have a question that is not answered here, how can I contact you?
A. Absolutely...Email us at [email protected]
Q. What should I bring to Crop for the Cure?
A. You can go to the Prep Tab and We have made a suggested list of things to bring, how to get to the hall etc.
Q. I have specific likes/dislikes to get me through the event ie I need candy nerds to make it through 22 hours or I only drink Pepsi products.
A. We do our absolute best to accomodate dietary needs that are indicated on the registration forms. If you have specific "loves" feel free to bring your own beverages, candies, meals etc. we won't be offended at all. With such a large group its difficult to please everyone, our priorities lie with life threatenting allergies.
Q. My donors have asked when they will receive their tax receipt?
A. As you can imagine, with over 100 participants, it can be very time consuming to get the tax receipts input. Technically, we dont have to have the tax receipts issued until Feb 28th of the current tax year, this year cheque donations will be brought directly to the Weekend to Conquer Cancer by the End of February, they will do all the data entry for cheques (which is a HUGE responsibility off our plates) however this can take time. Cash donations are input by one of our Team members, she always has them in by April/May but definately all are in by August.
Q. One of my donors did not receive their tax receipt?
A. Please let me know ASAP so I can follow up with the Weekend to Conquer Cancer office, just email or call me.
Q. Is this really the last Crop 4 the Cure?

Unfortunately life brings obstacles and we have to make really difficult decisions.
